BIOGRAPHY
John M. Kliem
JOHN KLIEM is both a facilitator and a planning and
community development consultant with over twenty-five years of public
and private experience in Washington State. He started Creative
Community Solutions back in 1992.
Before owning his own firm, John worked for municipal governments in planning and city management. John's educational achievements include a Master's in Urban and Regional Planning from Eastern Washington University and a Bachelor's in Political Science from Washington State University. He also is a graduate of the Institute of Cultural Affairs’ Mastering the Technology of Participation.
In his spare time, John is active in kendo, iaido, cross-country skiing, kayaking, and tootling around Puget Sound in his boat. He is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer from Sierra Leone, West Africa. ▲
Deborah A. Holden
Debbie joined Creative Community Solutions in 2007 as a facilitator.
Deborah brings with her over 25 years experience as an administrative assistant and paralegal.
Debbie has become a valuable team member through her work with the Chehalis Basin Partnership, Thurston County Asphalt Advisory Task Force, Thurston County Shoreline Master Program update, Grays Harbor County Housing Plan, Grays Harbor Marine Resources Committee, Capitol Lake Adaptive Management Committee, and others. ▲
